Border Crossing has gotten some nice press lately, including being featured in an article about northern Michigan literary culture with PANK, Dunes Review, and Pithead Chapel. Our interns were recently featured in the Sault Evening News, Cheboygan Daily Tribune, and on the LSSU website.
My prose poem, "Rotkäppchen,” appears in The Way North: Collected Upper Peninsula New Works edited by Ron Riekki for Wayne State University Press this month, along with work by some amazing U.P. affiliated writers, including Julie Brooks Barbour, Chad Faries, Eric Gadzinski, Jane Piirto, Janeen Rastall, and Catie Rosemurgy, to name a few. The good news: I've accepted an amazing new job at Lake Superior State University, where I'll be an assistant professor of English and creative writing. I'll also get to co-edit a literary journal, Border Crossing! The bad news: we have to sell our house and move up to Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, before the fall semester starts!
